ABOUT ME

My earliest memory of school is when I was in prep and our class would have a box where students could donate their own toys and then at the end of the week our teacher would pick some people to take a toy if they behaved well.

I learn best when I’m by myself or if I’m with one other friend so that I can focus on my work in silence.

My worst trait is how I blush very easily.

My best trait is my personality because I’m nicer than most people and I understand people and judge less.

I often wonder what the future will be like and what will happen to me.

The hardest thing I’ve ever done was move classes because I left all my friends behind.

The last possession I would give up
is my cat (if he counts).

This term I am looking forward to meeting new people.

What image would you put on a postcard of Melbourne? Why? I would have a picture of shoppers walking past little laneways where people sit and eat outside cafes and bakeries because there beautiful and there’s so many places like that in the CBD.

Which Melbourne person would you most like to sit next to on the tram? Why? I would want to sit next to my sister, Kristina because she knows her way around and also because I feel safe when I’m around her.

If you could invite any 3 people from history to dinner who would you invite? Why? I would invite my ancestors because I don’t know much about my families past.

Describe Melbourne in three words. Laneways, trams and home.

  1. Thanks for sharing Jeannie.
What a lovely memory from primary school, a very kind activity for your teacher to devise.
There is nothing wrong with blushing, everyone blushes from time to time.
Your postcard image of Melbourne maybe somewhere like Degraves St, a hive of activity & great food.
Your cat can can be classified as a possession and I know I would never want to give up my dog.
I hope the Galileo program can assist your transition from one class to another 🙂

  2. Hi Jeannie!
Lovely to finally make your acquaintance, i’m looking forward to getting to know you better and help you to achieve all that you aim for in Galileo!
So great that you wonder about your future – I think it’s so important to think about these things and make positive steps now to ensure that you have the skills necessary to achieve what you want in the future, even if you don’t know what that is.
Melbourne is such a beautiful city and i think i’d choose a similar picture as what you would choose… MCG, Flinders St station are amazing but they don’t represent TRUE Melbourne life like you said.
You mentioned blushing; that still happens to me every now and then! I think as you get confidence and get more comfortable with who you are, you don’t care what other people think of you any more!
Great to read your blog, keep them coming 🙂
